Heritage Hero Award presented to Ken Clark

by Gerri Peterson On his last day in Mullen last Wednesday, July 19, Ken Clark was presented with a Heritage Hero Award by History Nebraska during his farewell reception held at the Old Hotel. Clark is one of 25 recipients of the 2023 Heritage Hero Award.

It was a beautiful, sometimes rainy weekend for a family reunion for the Maire family. Goldie Little enjoyed spending time at her family reunion at Halsey Forest Sunday.

Free clinic for ranchers

A free farm finance clinic for farmers and ranchers and their families will be held in Valentine on Thursday, July 20. The clinic is confidential, one-on-one sessions with an experienced ag law attorney and ag finance counselor. These clinics have been offered in Nebraska since 1989.
