United Women in Faith holds meeting

United Women in Faith met Wednesday afternoon, June 14, 2023, in the senior high room of the church with five members present. President Sue Bonesteel opened the meetings. Concerns were given and Sue gave prayer for blessings we receive and give.

Letter to Editor

Dear Editor, I saw the unsigned ad pertaining to the showing of the “Mind Polluters” in a recent issue of the Hooker County Tribune. There was also an invitation to have a “Happy Heterosexual Summer” which appeared in a different, but sequential issue, also unsigned.

South Cherry

Peggy Marsh spent Thursday in North Platte where she was able to visit her aunt, Dorothy James and Linda Cox at Linden Court. Peggy enjoyed visiting the Bob Edis home Friday afternoon; she enjoyed the tour of their new home.

Goldie Little is always pleased to spend her weekend with visitors. Saturday, Goldie enjoyed spending her time with Alan and Bonnie Little of North Platte. Joining them was their daughter, Janelle Bauer and her two boys, Samuel and Emmett.
