Dear Editor, My arrival in Mullen was in 2014. I moved here from Superior, Nebraska, which, coincidentally, was going thru the same Nuisance Program. Superior is a town of about 1,900 citizens and just like Mullen had its share of people for it, and a few against it.

Mullen Book Club to meet next July 19

The Mullen Book Club will meet next on Wednesday, July 19 at 6:00 p.m. on the Hooker County Courthouse lawn (or at the Mullen Arts Center if bad weather). Bring your lawn chair and join us! We will be discussing “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus.
