Christmas Walkabout

The annual Walkabout was held last Friday, Dec. 9. From 3:006:00 p.m. downtown businesses had goodies and specials and Santa was downtown from 4:00-5:00. Then the activities moved out to the Hooker County Community Center from 6:00-8:00 p.m. where businesses and other vendors were set up.

Who will win the Christmas light contest?

Mullen Commercial Club is once again sponsoring a Christmas light contest. Residential winners will receive $300 for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third. The Mullen Commercial Club will be judging, with the results announced before Christmas!

Your hunting & fishing photos

Crisp wins Christmas Photo Contest

Thank you to everyone who submitted photos for the annual Christmas Photo Contest. Congratulations to Lyn Crisp who won this year’s contest and received a free year subscription to the Tribune. Bryan and Lyn Crisp created these cedar reindeer from dead cedar trees that Bryan had cut down.
