Free farm/ranch clinic to be in Valentine

A free farm and ranch clinic will be held in Valentine on Tuesday, June 14 for farmers and ranchers and their families. The clinic is confidential and a one-on-one session with an experienced Ag Law attorney and Ag finance counselor.

Locals attend UMC Women meeting

On Friday afternoon, April 22, Winnie Cooley and Lois Folk traveled to the Imperial-Wauneta areas to attend the Great West United Methodist Women spring meeting at the Wauneta United Methodist Church. They noticed dirt clouds from the high wind at Lake McConaughy all the way to the Imperial Inn.

Art to be highlighted in central Nebraska

For the first time in its long history, the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs, Inc. (ANAC) will hold its annual conference in Broken Bow - their 57th. There are 38 art clubs in Nebraska, which is the only state to bring art in its various forms from all the clubs for an annual exhibit.

Local Memorial Day programs set

A Memorial Day weekend sunset service will be held on Sunday, May 29 at Dry Valley Church at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Ben Hart will give the message. The church is located 14 miles north of Mullen on Highway 97, then 3 miles west. Mullen’s Memorial Day program will be Monday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m.
