Mullen News

On Friday, May 6 Sharilyn Bader went to Rapid City, South Dakota, and spent the weekend with family and friends. On Saturday, May 7 they had a girls pottery day. Becky Thompson and daughter Macy joined them. On Sunday, Mother’s Day, her kids had a family brunch. Four siblings were there.

South Hooker

Nancy Labbe from Hudson, Colorado, is here visiting Larry and Georgann French. Clint and Ange Cary of LaPort, Iowa, left Monday, after visiting since Friday with Larry and Georgann French and Stuart and Leah Carson.

South Cherry

Dean Marsh of rural Kearney was at the Bob Marshes Tuesday afternoon. Bob and Peggy Marsh attended the grade school track meet at the football field Wednesday afternoon. Bob went to North Platte Thursday morning. Peggy Marsh and Kenny Bader went to Rapid City, South Dakota, that day.

Mobile food pantry

A drive through mobile food pantry will be in Mullen on Saturday, May 21 from 9-11 a.m. at the Hooker County Fairgrounds. Everyone is welcome - no documentation needed. Call the Mullen Assembly of God at 308-546-2253 with any questions. This event is sponsored by Food Bank for the Heartland.
