Logan Moore came to visit Goldie Little Saturday. They ate lunch together and watched cartoons and had a good time. Sharilyn Bader did the Christmas Walkabout at the Community Center Friday evening and enjoyed it very much, seeing and visiting with so many people.

The North Platte, Nebraska, Deanery of the Grand Island Diocese held an Advent Retreat at Casa de Pax (House of Peace) in Newcastle, Nebraska, on Dec. 6. A service project for the retreat was a collection of over 40 blankets from the deanery parishes to be given to the Winnebago Indian Reservation.

The Mullen Commercial Club sponsored their 17th annual Walkabout last Friday, Dec. 10. Several businesses had extended hours until 7 p.m. that evening, while others had goodies and drawings during their regular hours or set up tables at the Hooker County Community Center.
