As we near the end of this year, the one thing on everyone’s mind is Christmas. Parents are hoarding the presents their children have asked for and children are looking forward to new toys, books, clothes, and so on.

Alfalfa as a supplemental protein

Choosing the right protein may help bring the cost of feed down and more accurately meet the needs of our cattle. In some rations, alfalfa might be that choice. Whether cattle are on winter range, corn stalks, or being fed prairie/grass hay, they often will need extra protein in their diet.

Lincoln - The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT), together with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) and the National Weather Service (NWS), has announced an updated Nebraska 511, which promises to bring better service to Nebraskans as they plan for winter travel.

Book Club reading Christmas book
