Village of Comstock once again a Christmas city

Comstock is located smack dab in the middle of the state. Once a town of 400 people and 40 businesses, it’s now a village of 100 people, a pop machine, post office, senior center and repair shop. Comstock will come to life again this year, from Thanksgiving to shortly after New Years.

Hooker County Historical Society meets

The November meeting of the Hooker County Historical Society was held Thursday, Nov. 18. President Ken Clark called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The following members were in attendance: Frank Harding, Jennifer Peters, Ted and Sue Bonesteel, Charlie Jones and Peggy Marsh.
