Mullen Post Office is promoting Breast Cancer Research Stamp

Once again the Mullen Post Office is promoting the Breast Cancer Research Stamp during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The 75-cent fundraising or “semipostal” stamp, is available year-round in sheets of 20 to help raise funds for breast cancer research. $3.

State Club Conference of FCE held

The State Club Conference of Nebraska Association for Family and Community Education met at the Cobblestone in Broken Bow September 10 and 11. The slogan was, “Follow Your FCE Arrow to Broken Bow.” Twenty-nine members were in attendance. Winnie Cooley and Lois Folk went Thursday afternoon, the 9th.

Nebraska Women in Agriculture program book club

Lincoln - The Nebraska Women in Agriculture program has announced a book club series that will begin this fall with a look into the life of author Carey Portell, who will be a keynote speaker at the 2022 Women in Agriculture Conference in February.

Happy October everyone! We hope you all have had a great week! We have been enjoying the beautiful weather, our visitors and our daily activities! First I would like to explain what I mean when I say one-on-one activities. For example, when I’m gone or are helping on the floor, I say one-on-one.
