Western Nebraska Balloons now located in Mullen

by Gerri Peterson Meg Seeley never thought she’d be a balloon artist, but for a year and a half now Western Nebraska Balloons has been providing balloons for nearly every event you can think of. The options are endless. Balloon arches for dances. Backdrops for showers and parties. Balloon bouquets.

Next Free Mobile Food Pantry is Nov. 5

Food Bank for the Heartland will host a free Mobile Pantry in Mullen, Nebraska, on Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., or until food runs out. The mobile pantry will take place at the Hooker County Fairgrounds, located at 36531 Fairgrounds Road.

Deadline for Nebraskaland photo contest is Oct. 31

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Nebraskaland Magazine photo contest.Submissions should be made at Magazine.Outdoor-Nebraska.gov. To be eligible for the contest, photos should be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central time Oct. 31.

NPCC Theater Dept. to present play
