July is National Berry Month. When was the last time you enjoyed blueberries, cranberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries? Now is a great time to do that! In July, berries are in season. Therefore, you might find them at a lower price compared to the rest of the year.

Shaniya Albertus is new 4-H Assistant

Thedford – The Central Sandhills Area Extension has added a new member to the office. Shaniya Albertus has been added to the staff, taking over the position of 4-H Assistant formerly held by Amanda Davis.

Two Vacation Bible School opportunities this month

Sandhills Community Bible Church of Mullen will be hosting a free Vacation Bible School July 5-9 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. for all kids age 3 through 8th grade. Come learn about “Life of Christ” through stories, singing, games, crafts, quizzes and snacks!
