Methodist VBS set for June 14-18

Memorial Day had picture-perfect weather in Mullen on Monday, May 31. At the Memorial Day service held at Cedarview Cemetery, where the traditional flags were flying, those who have died while serving in the U.S. military were remembered.

Deb Uphoff was a visitor at Charlotte Hoatson’s Saturday. Roger Olson of Papillion came Wednesday to visit Dorothy James and left Sunday afternoon. Bonnie Prentice was a visitor at Goldie Little’s one day last week. Alice Phipps was a Saturday afternoon visitor.

The Bob Marshes went to North Platte Wednesday for Bob’s checkup. They met Bob and Beth Davis at KFC for lunch. Bob Marsh went to the Oley Olson and Tim Andersen branding Friday. He and Ty Marsh went to Don and Marvin Cox’s branding Saturday.

South Hooker

Larry and Georgann French and Justin French went to Hot Springs, South Dakota, Wednesday to celebrate Justin’s 15th birthday and came home Friday. Mike and Leanne French, Leah Carson, Justin French, Lois Nordahl and Leila Hicks were Saturday supper guests at the Larry French’s.
