Members needed for Historical Society

The Hooker County Historical Society met Thursday, April 29, 2021, at the Old Hotel/Museum. Present were Frank Harding, Charlie Jones, Ken Clark, Peggy Marsh and new members Jennifer Peters and Ty Walker. President Clark called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.

There are a lot of problems with the government and the agriculture industry. Ranchers and farmers have many hoops to jump through to be able to produce. The government is not the only problem. There are a lot of outside influencers on agriculture.

Brandings are a spring highlight for many

Spring has always been my most treasured time of year for a plethora of reasons. Above all springtime activities, going to brandings with my Dad has always been best-loved. My favorite part about going to various brandings is observing all of the contrasting ways that people get the job done!
