A gorgeous Memorial Day in Mullen

Memorial Day had picture-perfect weather in Mullen on Monday, May 31. At the Memorial Day service held at Cedarview Cemetery, where the traditional flags were flying, those who have died while serving in the U.S. military were remembered.

Deb Uphoff was a visitor at Charlotte Hoatson’s Saturday. Roger Olson of Papillion came Wednesday to visit Dorothy James and left Sunday afternoon. Bonnie Prentice was a visitor at Goldie Little’s one day last week. Alice Phipps was a Saturday afternoon visitor.

Larry and Georgann French and Justin French went to Hot Springs, South Dakota, Wednesday to celebrate Justin’s 15th birthday and came home Friday.
