Consumers lost a record $304 million to scams last year, according to the Federal Trade Commission. And the scams aren’t slowing down in 2021. The Hooker County Sheriff’s Office has reported that they have recently received many calls from community members reporting scams of a wide variety.

COVID-19 a year after the first confirmed Nebraska case

Lincoln - As of Tuesday, March 9, the latest statewide total of COVID-19 cases was 203,587; as a reminder, the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed one year ago, March 6, 2020. To date, a total of 157,722 Nebraskans testing positive for COVID-19 have recovered.
