Todd Becker Foundation public program set for Wednesday, March 17, 7 p.m.

The Todd Becker Foundation, a nationally recognized high school assembly group, will be bringing their presentation, “Hear the Story. Be Moved.” to Mullen High School, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. The day’s events will begin with an assembly for grades 9-12 starting at 1:00 p.m.

Free agriculture business virtual workshops offered

Lyons – Beginning farmers and landowners throughout Nebraska are invited to attend workshops to discuss starting and maintaining an agricultural business. These free, virtual events are sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs. “Passing the Torch Series” will be on Thursdays, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Home ownership loans in rural Nebraska

Lyons – The Center for Rural Affairs is now offering home ownership and home improvement loans in rural Nebraska. Loans between $5,000 and $100,000 are available for the purchase of a home, owner occupied rehabilitation or renovation, or emergency repair to property.
