MHS Alumni banquet set for June 12

The planning has begun for this year’s Mullen High School Alumni banquet, which will be held on June 12 at the Lariat. We will keep you updated as the planning continues, so watch the Hooker County Tribune and Facebook.

TeamMates thanks their mentors this month

January is National Mentoring Month and the Mullen TeamMates board would like to thank and recognize our dedicated mentors! These men and women are matched with a Mullen High School student in grades 7-12, with the goal to meet with them once a week during the school year.

MHS graduates earn college honors

Chadron - Chadron State College has announced the names of 328 students who qualified for the institution’s Fall 2020 President’s List with a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

NSAA increases occupancy to 50%

For those keeping track of Hooker County’s total confirmed COVID-19 cases, as of press time on Tuesday, Jan. 5, our number is back down to 44 after the West Central District Health Department announced that a previous case was incorrectly entered as Hooker County.
