Emerson family draws names for gift giving tradition

Our family’s gift giving tradition is one that has only been around for a few years. When we gather at Grandma and Grandpa’s house on Christmas Eve, it is usually the time we exchange our gifts. During Thanksgiving we will put our names in a hat and pass it around drawing out names.

Miller family Christmas traditions

One tradition that my family has is every year we make a cake for Jesus’ birthday and we eat it every year on Christmas Day. We don’t have a special type of cake that we make, but we usually have a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and candles on top!
