NPCC Theater show livestreamed

North Platte Community College’s theater department will present “2020: A Year of Absurdity” Nov. 1-2. The play will be offered through a free livestream at 7:30 p.m. CT each night on the college’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/ user/MPCCedu.

Seneca Women’s Fellowship Bazaar

The Seneca Women’s Fellowship plans to host a Fall Bazaar on Friday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. MT at the Mullen Senior Center. We will have the usual Bazaar items for sale.

Marcy Andersen The Central Sandhills Area Extension Board met on Oct. 14 at the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory north of Whitman. Extension Board Member Blake Thompson from Blaine County was presented a plaque honoring him for his six years of service as a board member.

Mullen Book Club to meet again Nov. 18

The Mullen Book Club will be reading, “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter” by Kim Edwards for their November meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Hooker County Library basement at 6 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the library.
