Seneca Women’s Fellowship Bazaar

The Nebraska Strong Recovery Project

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) funding to implement a crisis counseling program for the current pandemic.

Applications now open for Nebraska Passport program

Lincoln - Applications are now being accepted for Nebraska Tourism’s 2021 Passport program. Any Nebraska destination is welcome to apply to become a Passport stop. Past stops have included museums, restaurants, outdoor adventures, retail stores, wineries, breweries, etc.

CSA Extension Board holds meeting

Marcy Andersen The Central Sandhills Area Extension Board met on Oct. 14 at the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory north of Whitman. Extension Board Member Blake Thompson from Blaine County was presented a plaque honoring him for his six years of service as a board member.

Mullen Book Club to meet again Nov. 18

The Mullen Book Club will be reading, “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter” by Kim Edwards for their November meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Hooker County Library basement at 6 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the library.
