Thanks to a Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation Bob & Susan Childers Betterment Grant, the Mul len Rural Health Clinic has received a facelift with new siding. The original siding had been repainted several years ago, but it was time for all new siding this time around.

Sandhills Motel occupancy to increase 30%

Mullen’s Sandhills Motel is currently undergoing renovations that involve tearing down old rooms.
Two Mullen artists received awards at the NEBRASKAland Days Competitive Art Show last week, which had 146 entries. The show was held at the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte. Kyle Hoyt placed 3rd in 2-D Landscape for his “Dismal River Picnic” piece (pictured above) and Nicole Hoffmann’s watercolor “Home” received an honorable mention (below). Nicole Hoffmann
