William “Bill” Richard Burt, age 83, of the Oshkosh area passed away Nov. 14, 2021, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, Nebraska.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at the United Methodist Church in Mullen, Nebraska, with Pastor John Parsons officiating. Burial was in the Cedarview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s research.

Bill was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Comstock, Nebraska, to Cecil Raymond Burt, Sr. and Clarice Alice (Tabor) Burt.
Bill is survived by daughter Lorinda Price of Omaha, son Raymond Burt of David City, stepsons Gerald Henry of Omaha, and David Henry of Omaha, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother Cecil Burt of Broken Bow.
Bill was preceded in death by parents Cecil and Clarice Burt, Sr., wife Francis, sister Alyce Finney, brother Oscar Burt and a son Brian Burt of his previous marriage.
