Alberta Eileen Campbell

Alberta Eileen Hester Le-LaCheur Campbell, 95, of Layton, Utah, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at Apple Village Memory Care Center. Eileen was born April 5, 1926, in Thedford, Nebraska, to Albert Dee Hester and Eva Crystal Weaver. She lived most of her life in Mullen and Broken Bow Nebraska.

She was married to Curtiss LeLaCheur for 25 years (divorced). She married Gilbert Campbell and they were married 20 years before his passing.

She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on April 14, 2001.

She moved to Layton, Utah, in 2002 to be near her sons.

She is survived by her sister, Marilyn McComb of Green Valley, Ariz., and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hester of Los Banos, Calif.; her 4 children, Carol Ann Arehart (Howard) of Mason City, Neb., Clyde Allen LeLaCheur of Murray, Utah, Glen Dee LeLaCheur (Nanette) of Sandy, Utah, and Kenneth Duane LeLaCheur (Patricia) of Kaysville, Utah; a step-son Ron Campbell (Brenda) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three brothers: Donald Hester, Marlan Hester and James Hester, two daughters-in-law Gail LeLaCheur and Kay LeLaCheur, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. CT at the Broken Bow Township Cemetery, 79775 Hwy 21, Broken Bow, Nebraska.
