Sharon Kay Freeman, age 83, of Seneca, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. CT at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow. Inurnment will be in the Madison Square Cemetery in Taylor, Nebraska.

Sharon Kay Freeman was born April 28, 1938, in Sargent, Nebraska, to Harold and Wave (Harris) Garska. Sharon attended and graduated from Loup County High School. After high school Sharon went on and received her Teachers Certificate. Sharon taught school for over 35 years, and then substitute taught.
On Aug. 21, 1986, she was united in marriage to Marvin Freeman. The couple made their home in the Sandhills of Nebraska.
Sharon is survived by daughters Tess (Roger) Sinner of Sargent and Mellissa (Greg) Freeman of Dunning, step-son Marvin Freeman of Lockwood, Missouri, nine grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren, and one greatgreat grandchild.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, son Mick Welton, step-son William “Billy” Freeman and her parents Harold and Wave Garska.
