Stanley E. Boyer, 81, a native of Mullen, Nebraska, for most of his life, passed away Tuesday morning, March 28, 2023, at Linden Court in North Platte, Nebraska. He was born on Nov. 7, 1941, to Stanley N. Boyer “Buck” and Kathleen I. (Pearman) Boyer “Kat”.

Charles “Charlie” Arthur Jones, age 74, passed away at Great Plains Health, North Platte, Nebraska, on March 19, 2023. Charlie was born on Aug. 14, 1949, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Alliance, Nebraska, to Mabel (Matthews) and A.O. “Pete” Jones, the third of four children.

Kenneth Lee Jewell, 67, of Keystone, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, at his home. Kenny was born Aug. 14, 1955, to Alfred and Shannon (Seter) Jewell. He went to school in Albin, Carpenter and Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Roger D. Olson, fondly known as Lefty, 73, of Papillion, Nebraska, passed away on March 21, 2023. Lefty was born to Dorothy and Olen Olson in a house in Anselmo, Nebraska, on July 21, 1949. He and his parents lived in the area until Olen’s death. Dorothy remarried Eu-gene W.

Betty Hampton

Betty Berniece (Milander) Hampton went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2023, at the age of 95. Betty was born July 1, 1927, to Glenn and Vera (Maire) Milander at her home south of Mullen. She attended country school until January 1937 when her parents moved into Mullen.

Darren Dageforde

Darren Scott Dageforde, son of Darrel Dageforde and Rosemary (Hulse) Dageforde, was born June 24, 1965, in Hebron, Nebraska. He died at home in Blair, Nebraska, on March 14, 2023. Darren quickly developed a strong midwestern work ethic growing up on a family farm south of Hebron.
