Keith LeRoy Haist was born Feb. 6, 1923, on a farm near Denton, Nebraska. He was the third son of Earnest Morton Haist and Myrtle Bell Dunten Haist. He passed away on July 11, 2023, in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 100. Keith graduated from Pleasant Dale High School in 1940.

Leona L. Hendrix, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away on May 28, 2023, at Centennial Park Retirement Village. She was 83 years young. She was born to Vernon and Bessie (Beatty) Osborn on June 6, 1939, in Arapahoe, Nebraska, at home.

Stuart Jacob Koch, 85, of North Platte, passed away May 23, 2023, at home. He was born on March 9, 1938, to Frank and Emma “Hazel” (Barnett) Koch in Sutherland. Stuart grew up in Hershey and graduated from Hershey High School with the class of 1955.

A public graveside service for Donald F. Marshall will be held at 10:00 a.m. MT on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Cedarview Cemetery in Mullen. Friends and family are encouraged to meet at the Methodist Church following the graveside service to share memories and visit.

Don Hardy

Don Hardy, son of Bert and Eva Hardy, was born in Mullen, Nebraska, on Jan. 4, 1941, and passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 82 years. Funeral services are Thursday, May 4 at the Methodist Church in Broken Bow with burial in the Grand View Cemetery, at Anselmo.

Raymond Hanson

Raymond Paul Hanson, age 80, of Thedford, Nebraska, passed away April 18, 2023, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Center in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Memorial services will be Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. CT at the United Church of Christ in Thedford with Pastor Les Parmenter officiating.

Ted Van Fossen

Ted was a close friend and neighbor of the Mike and Arla Kvanvig family in Axtell, Nebraska. Once they moved to Mullen, he loved keeping up on the Kvanvig family through the Tribune. Here is to one last hurrah in the “Hooker” Ted, we will miss you.
