David L. Boyles, 53, passed away on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He was born on May 6, 1968, in Alliance to Glenwood “Jim” and Ruby (Krueger) Boyles. He graduated from Mullen High School in 1986.

Elsie Mae Carr, age 87, of Halsey, Nebraska, passed away Jan. 25, 2022, at the Brookestone View in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Cremation was chosen, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Thedford Fire & Rescue. Govier Brothers Mortuary are assisting the family.

Hattie Lee Hanks was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world suddenly with her daughter Rylee and Rylee’s unborn child on Jan. 14, 2022, at age 53. Hattie was born to Gene and Dottie Peters on Jan. 28, 1968. She was the sister to Dee Dee and Todd.

Rylee Downs

Rylee Nicole (Hanks) Downs was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She left this world suddenly on Jan. 14, 2022, with her mother and unborn child at the age 27. Ṙylee was born to Wade and Hattie Hanks on Sept. 5, 1994. She was a sister to Darrick.

Donna “Donalee” Dietrich

Donna Virginia “Donalee” Dietrich, 84, of Mars, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday afternoon, Nov. 8, 2021, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township. Born Oct. 25, 1937, in Arnold, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Kermit Keith and Mamie Irene Osborn Collier.

Marjorie Schmidt

Marjorie Jenavee was born April 12, 1926, the oldest daughter of James H. and Alta (Gailey) Davis in Hooker County Nebraska, where she grew up attending District #6, Seneca and Mullen Schools. She met Bud Edelman at a basketball tournament in Seneca, fell in love and was married Nov. 19, 1942.

Carmine Fay

Carmine Louise (Johnson) Fay from Mullen, Nebraska, went to be with Jesus Dec. 30, 2021, at the age of 49. Carmine was born Sept. 5, 1972, to David S. Johnson (Fran) and Gladys J. Sexson. Carmine was married to Jerry Fay on Oct. 23, 2021.
