The second grade class recently enjoyed an exciting field trip to the high school’s thermal greenhouse. The students had the opportunity to space and learn more about how plants grow.Mrs. Hardin and her students welcomed the second graders and gave them a guided tour of the greenhouse.

Each week, students participate as tributes - racing for supplies, forming alliances, answering higher-level thinking questions to gain arena support, and navigating challenges like escaping “mutts” while blindfolded These experiences deepen comprehension, promote critical thinking, and help students fully immerse themselves in the world of the novel.

MPS clothing drive until Jan. 27

Mullen Public Schools’ leadership class is holding a clothing drive for The Connection Homeless Shelter in North Platte.They will be receiving items until Tuesday, Jan. 27. They are expecting a wide range of cloth-ing, but they do need undergarments and XXL-sized clothing.
