As reported in the Sept. 18 Tribune, MHS Science teacher Sarah Hardin is the 2026 Nebraska Teacher of the Year. She was honored last Thursday, Dec. 4 during the Awards of Excellence Program and reception at Morrill Hall in Lincoln.

First-ever MNAC One Act Championship for MHS

The sun was shining, but the wind made it cool for the Mullen FFA sponsored Turkey Trot last Saturday, Nov. 22. Pictured is the start of the event, with the mile and 5K participants all starting together. Thank you to the following businesses for their donations: Outpost Feed Store, Consolidated, Sand Hills Golf Course, Connealy Angus and Dismal River Club.

Mullen High School’s National Honor Society students traveled to Omaha this past weekend on a service trip. The community first donated to the NHS Winter Warm Up Drive, where 39 coats, 27 blankets and numerous pairs of gloves and hats were collected.
