The sun was shining, but the wind made it cool for the Mullen FFA sponsored Turkey Trot last Saturday, Nov. 22. Pictured is the start of the event, with the mile and 5K participants all starting together. Thank you to the following businesses for their donations: Outpost Feed Store, Consolidated, Sand Hills Golf Course, Connealy Angus and Dismal River Club.
Mullen High School’s National Honor Society students traveled to Omaha this past weekend on a service trip. The community first donated to the NHS Winter Warm Up Drive, where 39 coats, 27 blankets and numerous pairs of gloves and hats were collected.
