Preschool update

by Brett Mauler, Elementary Principal Dear Parents of Future Broncos, After a meeting with the Nebraska Department of Education, Educational Service Unit 16 and the Mullen Public School, we have decided to make a change to the Little Broncos Early Childhood Center and Preschool schedule and hours.

Rice on Deans’ Honor Roll

Hays, Kansas - Fort Hays State University has named 1,841 students to the Deans’ Honor Roll for the Spring 2025 semester.The Deans’ Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and earned a minimum gradepoint average of 3.

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the student recipients of the Spring 2025 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards.

UNL Deans’ List

Lincoln - Ethan Hardin and Lauren Schoonveld have been named to the Deans’ List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2024-25 academic year.

As I write this article on June 20, 2025, it is hard to believe that the 4th of July is right around the corner. Unfortunately, summer is flying by, but at the same time it has been some very busy times at Mullen Public Schools.

President’s and Dean’s Lists announced

A total of 110 students qualified for the President’s List during the 2025 spring semester at Mid-Plains Community College.To make the list, each student had to complete 12 or more applicable credit hours in college-level courses and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 or greater on a 4.

Impacting youth one TeamMates meeting at a time

by Gerri Peterson, Mullen TeamMates Chapter Board Member Mullen’s TeamMates Mentoring Program has wrapped up another successful year with 45 matches.Mentors are matched with a Mullen High School student in grades 7-12, with the goal to meet with them once a week during the school year.
