Schoonveld to be Girls State counselor

by Gerri Peterson Lauren Schoonveld, a 2024 graduate of Mullen High School, was selected to be a counselor at the American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State this year June 1-7 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Consolidated Community Scholarship

Allie Boyer of Mullen, Nebraska, and daughter of Brandon and Terra Boyer, has been awarded a scholarship from Consolidated Companies, Inc. for the 2025-2026 school year. Allie will receive a scholarship of $2,000 for higher education. Allie is a graduate of Mullen High School.

North Platte Community College graduates

North Platte Community College has released its list of graduates for the 2024-25 academic year.The nursing students were honored during a pinning and commencement ceremony.The remainder of the students were recognized during the general commencement ceremony, both held May 9.
