Maci Walz is overall Science Fair winner

The Middle School Science Fair was held last Monday, March 31. Each sixth, seventh and eighth grader put together a tri fold explaining their projects, with the trifolds being judged before the Science Fair was open to the public. The 6th grade winner was Ava Walz with her experiment on bread mold.

March Pizza with the Principal at Mullen Elementary

Pizza with the Principal is a reward for six Mullen Elementary School students, featuring one student from each grade level. This is the Mullen Elementary School’s version of “student of the month.”Each grade level will have one award winner each month.

Glow Day in second grade!

The 2nd grade students have been working hard for the last month to earn a Glow Day. Last Thursday, April 3 was finally the day.They got to do their work with highlighters, wear glowsticks and light-up glasses, have the lights off and even had a dance party. It was a great day in 2nd grade!

Mullen Art Show to be next Tuesday

On Tuesday, April 15 the Mullen Invitational Art Show will be held at the Lariat. Judging will take place from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and the show will be open to public viewing from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Come out and see the work of many talented junior high and high school artists.

Mrs. Hardin's Chemistry 2 students hosted their annual Science Fair for the 2nd and 3rd grade students on Wednesday, April 2.Mia Flores-Green began the event with a colorful display, creating lava lamps illustrating the properties of liquid densities and the release of carbon dioxide gas.
