Mullen High School Prom will be held on Saturday, April 5 at the Lariat. The general public is invited to attend the Grand March, which will begin at 8:00 p.m.Prom pictures are scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m.

The Mullen kindergartners used their imaginations to draw unique monster designs full of color and personality, then the MHS freshmen got to work, using their hand sewing skills to turn those drawings into real, huggable stuffed monsters in their FCS class!

The Mullen senior high quiz bowl team traveled to Tryon last Friday, March 21 to compete in the MNAC tournament. This was a good meet for the team, as all members were present and competing. The team played hard and finished 5-5 hav ing some quality wins!

In science, the 2nd grade students explored the different properties of materials used for clothing, such as texture, flexibility and absorbency. They then used this information to design and build a hat that protects them from the sun. The 2nd graders have been learning about insects.
