Mullen FFA wraps up year with banquet

by Kassidy Cheever, FFA Reporter On April 20, 2026, Mullen FFA had their end of the year banquet. The supper that was served was by Donna Reynolds. She made shredded roast beef, with mac-n-cheese, taco salad and then there was ice cream and brownies at the end.

Mullen places 4th, 2nd at MNAC art show

by Gerri Peterson The MNAC art show was held in conjunction with the junior high and high school MNAC track meets in Arnold last Friday, May 1.The Mullen Junior High placed 2nd in their division of the art show, while Mullen High School finished 4th out of 12 schools.

April’s Mullen Elementary Pizza with the Principal

Pizza with the Principal is a reward for six Mullen Elementary School students, featuring one student from each grade level. This is the Mullen Elementary School’s version of “student of the month.”Each grade level will have one award winner each month.

Students receive academic awards

Mullen Public Schools’ Honors Night was held Monday, April 27, at the Lariat, where 6-12th grade students’ artwork was also on display.During Honors Night, 6th- 12th grade students were recognized for their academic achievements throughout the school year.

Brown honored at Teacher Convocation

Lincoln - Michelle Brown of Mullen was among 208 University of Nebraska-Lincoln undergraduate students officially admitted to teacher education programs during the 2025-26 academic year who were recognized at the annual Teacher Education Convocation April 17 at Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall.
