Mullen FFA attends State Convention

Hegland, Walz qualify for National FCCLA STAR

Mullen FCCLA members traveled to Lincoln for the FCCLA State Leadership Conference April 29-31. Throughout their time in Lincoln, members participated in competitive events and received program awards.

Bronco Bots compete at Robotics Expansion Event

The Mullen 4-H Club, Bronco Bots, practiced at least once a week since the first week of September for their competition last month. They competed at the Robotics Expansion Event held on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus in Lincoln March 20-21.

Mullen Elementary’s March Pizza with the Principal

Pizza with the Principal is a reward for six Mullen Elementary School students, featuring one student from each grade level. This is the Mullen Elementary School’s version of “student of the month.”Each grade level will have one award winner each month.

Family STEM Night was held last Thursday, March 26 at the Hill top Gym. It began with a presentation by Wildlife Encounters, where attendees got to see and pet animals like the alligator Tripp Jewell is petting above and the boa constrictor that Zach Hicks is petting below.
