On a cold, blustery fall day, Oct. 15, at the Courthouse and Jailhouse Rock Golf Course in Bridgeport, the Mullen Bronco cross country runners brought home some hardware from the District D-6 meet.

Broncos end regular season with 6-2 record

The Mullen Bronco football team finished their regular season last Thursday with a win when they hosted D1 Maxwell, making their record 6-2. The Wildcats were the first on the scoreboard and the score went back and forth in the first half.

Lady Broncos are MNAC Volleyball Champions

The Lady Broncos competed in the MNAC volleyball tournament last week, which was hosted by Mullen, South Loup and Brady. We played all of our games in Mullen. We won our first game on Thursday, Oct. 15 against Sandhills/Thedford 25-18, 26-24, 25-22. We then faced Anselmo-Merna on Saturday, Oct.

On a hot blustery October day at the Mullen Golf Club, the Mullen Bronco cross country team was able to show our community how hard they have been working this season.

Broncos play last regular season game this Thursday

The Mullen Broncos sent the Leyton Warriors home with only their second loss of the season last Thursday night when they defeated them 46-14. After the first quarter, it looked like it would be a close game, with the Broncos ahead 16- 14.

The girls golf Districts was at Crandall Creek Golf Club in Ogallala last Monday, Oct. 5. The competition included both Class C and Class D schools from the area, with 13 schools represented. As usual for this season, the wind was blowing hard as we started the round.
