Mullen High School junior Callie Coble was named to the Class D Nebraska Coaches Association’s 2020 Girls’ Cross Country All-State Team, presented by Custom Sports. Others making the Girls Class D team were Jordyn Arens, Crofton - Super-State, Alayna Vargas - Hastings St.

State High School Volleyball Championships live on NET

Lincoln – Watch all the action safely from home when the “NSAA State High School Volleyball Championships” air live from the Pinnacle Bank Arena Saturday, Nov. 7 on NET. The championship matchups begin at 9 a.m. CT with Class D-2, followed by Class D-1. The afternoon games will start at 2 p.m.

The Lady Bronco volleyball team defeated Graden County 25-21, 25-19, 16-25, 25-11 on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31 in Paxton to qualify for the Class D2 State Volleyball Tournament this week in Lincoln. #6 Mullen (28-5) will face #3 Maywood-Hayes Center (28-0) on Thursday, Nov. 5 at about 10 a.m.

Pleasanton ends Mullen’s season

The Mullen Bronco football team’s season ended last Thursday, Oct. 22 in the first round of the Class D2 playoffs at Pleasanton. “We ran into a good team last Thursday,” Head Coach Wade Marsh said. “We knew going in they would have some good size and a couple backs with some speed.

The girls were super excited to play two schools that were Class C1 at the Broken Bow Quad on Tuesday, Oct. 20. They were both huge games, as the points we could earn by beating them would help us in power points. vs.

Paxton competes in junior high rodeos

The fall Nebraska Junior High Rodeo season wrapped up earlier this month. Mullen eighth grader Peyton Paxton placed at the fall rodeos in the ribbon roping with partner Jackson Wykert. In Lexington on Sunday, Aug. 9 they placed 7th with a 28.1.
