Golf team competes at Alliance

by Gerri Peterson The Lady Bronco golf team competed in Alliance on Monday, Sept. 29.Austin Deibler shot a 50 and 56 for a 106, finishing just out of the medals at 11th place.Hope Miller shot a 59 and 53 for a 112 to finish 16th. Maci Walz shot a 65 and 68 for a 133 to finish 31st.

Lady Broncos win in 4 sets, lose in 5

by Gerri Peterson The Lady Broncos went 1-2 at the Ansley-Litchfield volleyball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27. Stats were unavailable for their last game of the tournament as of press time last week, so here are those stats for the Burwell game that they lost 15-25, 25-23 and 15-25.

Broncos battle to win at Maxwell

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco football team had an exciting win at Maxwell last Friday night, Oct. 3, in a back and forth battle, winning 34-32.“It was a really tough game,” Head Coach Wade Marsh said. “We knew going in they had a good quarterback and some solid lineman.

Mullen wins Brady tournament

The Mullen youth 5th/6th grade and 3rd/4th grade volleyball teams both won the Brady tournament last Saturday, Oct. 4.
The Mullen Junior High volleyball A team is 2-4 and the B team is 1-4 so far this season. Broncos beat Hyannis 54-16 for Homecoming victory

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco football team rolled to a 54-16 Homecoming victory over the Hyannis Longhorns last Friday, Sept. 26.“Another good game by the guys last week,” Head Coach Wade Marsh said.

Lady Broncos enter this week with 11-5 record

Cross country team runs at Ogallala

by Gerri Peterson It was a hot one for the Mullen Bronco cross country team last Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Crandall Creek Country Club in Ogallala.The Lady Broncos competed against 78 runners, with Riley Hegland placing 9th with a time of 21:36.30 and Ady Hampton finishing 29th with a 23:27.66.
