Broncos just miss team qualification

The Mullen Bronco boys golf team competed in the District D-5 meet at North Platte’s Lake Maloney Golf Course last Monday, May 19.They missed placing in the top three and qualifying for state as a team by just a few strokes, finishing 4th with a 365. North Platte St.

Lady Broncos medal in three State Track events

by Gerri Peterson Competing in 11 different events at the Class D NSAA State Track & Field Championship, the Mullen Broncos came home from Omaha with medals in 3 of them last Friday and Saturday, May 23-24.

Lady Broncos are District Track Champs

by Gerri PetersonThe Mullen Bronco track teams competed at the D8 District meet in Sutherland last Wednesday, May 14, with 10 Broncos qualifying for State Track. As a team, the Lady Broncos were also District Champions.Senior Peyton Paxton was the champion in the 3200 with a time of 12:26.

Broncos win Mullen Golf Invite

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco boys golf team ended their regular season last Wednesday, May 14, by winning their own meet.Their team score of 333 beat Broken Bow JV’s 344, with South Loup finishing third with 346 out of six scoring teams.Ben Werner shot a 71 to place second individually.
