A match to remember

Coach Russ Monette said it was going to be a memorable night for all involved, and he was right! MHS senior Jacob Wingebach was selected as the Nebraska Class D Unified Wrestling Participant to wrestle at the Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament last Friday evening, Feb. 21.

Broncos fall to Knights, Mavericks

by Alex Werner, MHS junior Tuesday, Feb. 11th, the hometown Mullen Broncos faced the neighboring D2 Sandhills/Thedford Knights. The Knights currently hold a 9-12 record, and placed 4th in the MNAC tournament.The Broncos made the trip to Thedford, and were ready to play.

The Mullen 5th/6th grade girls basketball team placed 3rd at the Stuart tournament on Saturday, Feb. 15, coached by Wade Marsh. They lost to North Central 22-7, beat Valentine 26-7, beat Atkinson 12-9 and lost to Ainsworth 18-14.
