The Lady Broncos swept the Hyannis Longhorns in Hyannis last Thursday, Sept. 26 with scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

Cross country continues medal haul

On Sept. 26, 2024, the cross country team competed at the Maywood-Hayes Center Invite. It was a fairly flat course which was beneficial; however, it was hot and dry outside. Regardless of the weather, each runner ran their best and came home with some hardware.The junior high kids ran very well.

Broncos defeat Longhorns 22-16

It was a closely matched game for the Bronco football team when they traveled to take on the Hyannis Longhorns last Thursday, Sept. 26.“We had a really hard fought football game last week,” Head Coach Wade Marsh said.

Locals continue to see success in rodeo arena

The Mid-States Rodeo Association finals were held in Broken Bow September 13-15. The McCully sisters - Brittni Bradley, Brooke and Brynne - were at it again, all qualifying to compete in the breakaway. Brittni also qualified in barrels and in mixed team roping with Dustin Chohon.

Cross country places 3rd in McCook

On Thursday, Sept. 20 the Bronco cross country team traveled to Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook.It was a very successful day for the high school and junior high runners. Although it was an extremely hilly course, the team endured through and overcame the hills.

The Mullen Lady Broncos went 1-1 at the volleyball triangular in Sutherland last Tuesday, Sept. 17.Against Sutherland they lost in three sets, 25-23, 22-25 and 12-25.

Broncos run away with Homecoming victory

The Mullen Broncos scored 20 points in the first quarter of their Homecoming football game last Friday, Sept. 20, against Brady and never looked back, defeating the Eagles 47-8.“The guys showed up and took care of business against Brady,” Head Coach Wade Marsh said.
