South Loup golf meet results

Jacob Walker and Jarren Forsen competed for the Mullen Broncos at the South Loup golf meet in Arnold last Friday, April 5.44 for a 90 to place 9th.Forsen had a 52 and 47 for a 99.The Broncos compete in Bridgeport on Thursday, April 11 and then in a triangular at Thedford on Monday, April 15.

It was more than a tad windy for the track team as they competed in Arnold last Friday, April 5 at the South Loup Invite, but the boys still won the meet with 86 points total, ahead of second place Ansley-Litchfield’s 79 points.

Appleton, Wisconsin - Four Lawrence University women’s basketball players have been honored by the College Sports Communicators on the Academic All-District team. Libby Crandall, Maggie Culver, Mallory Meyer and Taylor Svoboda were all chosen as Lawrence earned the maximum of four selections.

Broncos place 4th at Grant track meet last week

The Mullen Bronco track teams traveled to Grant to compete at the E. Lee Todd Invitational at Perkins County High School last Thursday, March 28.Seven teams competed at the meet, with the team results being the same for both girls and boys.

Golf team earns medals at opener

The Mullen Bronco boys’ golf team kicked off their season in Stapleton on Thursday, March 28. There may have been a bit of snow still in places, but it was nice enough to golf in short sleeves! Junior Jarren Forsen placed 9th with a 95, while sophomore Jacob Walker placed 10th also with a 95.

Two Broncos medal at State Youth Wrestling
