Mullen Marksmen Zach Hicks competed in Kimball on Sunday, Feb. 4, placing 3rd out of 14 competitors in the 9-10 year old bb gun division with a score of 325. Prone: 88-0, Standing: 70-0, Sitting: 85-1, Kneeling: 82-0.

Broncos compete in Central Valley Invite

The Bronco wrestling team competed at the Central Valley Invitational in Greeley on Friday, Jan. 26, finishing 20th out of 25 teams. James Kessler was the only Bronco to medal, placing 4th and scoring 17 team points at 165.

Boys fall short in MNAC games

The boys basketball team had a tough week. Mullen played Sandhills Valley in the first round of conference in Callaway on Monday, Jan. 22. The first half was pretty back and forth with Mullen taking the lead into halftime, 20-17.

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Marksmen BB Gun Club’s season started this month, with the first match being held in Harrison on Sunday, Jan. 21. Zach Hicks was the lone Mullen participant in Harrison. He shot a 321 to place 3rd in the 9-10 year old division (15 competitors).

The Mullen Bronco wrestling team had three days of competition last week. The Mullen Triangular was rescheduled from the week before and was held on Wednesday, Jan. 17. The Broncos won against Hyannis and lost against Hemingford. Invite held in Callaway. The Broncos tied for 7th out of 19 teams.
