by Gerri Peterson The D2 Mullen Broncos traveled to Taylor last Friday, Sept. 2 to take on the D2 Twin Loup Wolves. The Wolves were the first ones on the scoreboard, but the Broncos answered back with less than a minute left in the first quarter on a Luke Durfee touchdown run.

by Jadyn Andersen, MHS junior and Gerri Peterson On Tuesday, Aug. 30, the Lady Mullen Broncos fell short of the South Loup Bobcats in two sets 7-25 and 12-25, and also lost to the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes in two sets, 15-25 and 13-25 at a triangular in Arnold.

by Coach Ron Taylor The Lady Broncos traveled to Chappell for the Cross Creek Invite last Thursday, Sept. 1 and were met with some tough hot course conditions. It was a large meet and groups of four and five got sent out to the tees.

Broncos shutout Medicine Valley in season opener

by Alex Moore, MHS senior, and Gerri Peterson On Friday, Aug. 26th the Mullen Broncos headed to Curtis to face off against the Medicine Valley Raiders. It became very apparent that Mullen was the favorite to win when they ended the first half 40-0 and then ended with a final score 62-0.

Mullen youth football schedule

Cross country opener

by Coach Janie Kuncl The Mullen Broncos took three runners to the Panhandle Classic in Scottsbluff last Thursday, Aug. 25. Peyton Paxton medaled 3rd out of 89 high school girls with a time of 22:24.44. Alex Moore finished 45th out of 95 high school boys in 22:32.80.

Golfers shoot PRs in Ainsworth
