by Alex Moore, MHS senior and Gerri Peterson On Thursday, Sept. 15th, the Mullen Broncos defeated the Hyannis Longhorns pretty handily at home 50 to 14. Mullen ended with a total of 345 yards with 271 of those yards being rushing yards.

by Gerri Peterson The Nebraska High School Rodeo fall season wrapped up last Sunday, Sept. 18 in North Platte. MHS senior Whitney Jennings placed 2nd in breakaway with a 3.45. 11th - girls cutting, 63; 35th - poles, 27.365; 54th - barrels, 23.570; no time - team roping with Ali Vaughn.

Three Broncos medal at Ainsworth XC

by Coach Janie Kuncl The Mullen XC team traveled to Ainsworth on Thursday, Sept. 1st. They moved the meet to 9 a.m. MT to beat the heat and keep the runners safe. The cooler temperatures definitely helped the athletes. Junior high runners ran 1 mile. Harper Andersen placed 4th with a time of 6:48.
