Lady Broncos play at St. Pats, Leyton, Cody triangular

The Lady Broncos played four games in the last week, traveling to North Platte St. Pats last Tuesday, Sept. 27, Leyton on Friday, Sept. 30 and then to Cody for a triangular with Twin Loup on Saturday, Oct. 1. At St. Pats, they had a couple close sets but lost in three - 18-25, 9-25 and 17-25.

Basketball camp Oct. 23 at NPCC

The North Platte Community College men’s basketball team will host a camp for boys and girls in grades one through six from 1-3:30 p.m. CT Oct. 23. in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium, 601 W. State Farm Rd. in North Platte.

Broncos earn 46-14 win on the road against A-M

The Mullen Broncos traveled to Merna to take on the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes last Thursday, Sept. 22. The Broncos only allowed the Coyotes into the end zone twice, once in the first quarter and then again in the fourth quarter, coming home with a 46-14 win.

MHS junior On Sept. 22, the Lady Broncos lost to the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes in three sets, 11-25, 8-25, 12-25. The girls worked hard as Coach Jennifer Moore says, “The score does not tell how the night went. I felt it was our best game yet. The only thing we struggled with was our hitting.

Corbin earns two more golf medals

by Coach Ron Taylor Tuesday, Sept. 20 saw us off to Valentine to play at Frederick Peak Golf Club. This course has been a challenge for Corynn, but this year was different. This year the course lost, as Corynn carded a 104 and a 10th place medal, congratulations!

The inaugural Eclipse Dismal River Run Half Marthon, 10K & 5K, beginning and ending at the Eclipse Church in southern Hooker County, on Sunday, Sept. 18 saw many local participants.

XC traveled to Bridgeport for the Run at The Rocks meet last Tuesday, Sept. 13. Junior high ran 3K. Harper Andersen placed 4th with a time of 12:58.47, Ady Hampton 14th 13:58.36, Lola Wingebach 17th 14:39.17. Peyton Paxton was the high school girls runner-up with a 21:27.68.
