The Lady Broncos are back to back MNAC champions!As the #1 seed, they had a first round bye and then played the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes in Broken Bow on Thursday, Jan. 29.The Broncos used a 20-6 first quarter lead to propel them to a 56-40 win.Hayley Donohoe scored nearly half the team points with 26.

Small numbers compete for boys, girls wrestling

Gerri Peterson The boys wrestling team competed in Greeley at the Central Valley Invitational last Friday, Jan. 30.They only had four competitors, but still finished 9th out of 20 teams.Jason Kraus placed 2nd at 157. He pinned Briggs Doane (Wood River) in 3:07 and lo st 1-6 to Jaxon Wood (Yutan).

Broncos place 3rd in MNAC basketball tournament

The Mullen Bronco boys basketball team clawed their way to a 3rd place MNAC tournament finish last week.The #3 seeded Broncos first played #6 seed D1 South Loup (Callaway and Arnold) on Monday, Jan. 26 in Dunning.The Broncos trailed 12-17 at the end of the first quarter and 23-28 at halftime.

Super Bowl party to be held

Mullen’s Sandhills Community Bible Church will be hosting their annual Super Bowl party on Sunday, Feb. 8 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The public is invited to come enjoy a potluck meal, watch the game and/or play cards while the game is on.
