Broncos host subdistricts this week

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco boys basketball team hosted Sandhills Valley (Tryon and Stapleton) for their last regular season game on Friday, Feb. 20.The Broncos scored 18 points to the Mavericks’ 8 in the first quarter and continued to outscore them every quarter but one as they won 55-40.

A gold medal celebration

by Gerri Peterson Five Mullen Broncos ended their wrestling season at boys state wrestling last week in Omaha. Competition began on Thursday, Feb. 19 and lasted through Saturday, Feb. 21.
