by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Lady Broncos hosted the Sandhills/Thedford Knights on Tuesday, Feb. 10. The Broncos outscored the Knights in every quarter but one as they defeated them 54-32.Jenna Donohoe led the Broncos with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists.

Broncos to play last regular season game Friday

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco boys basketball team hosted the Sandhills/Thedford Knights last Tuesday, Feb. 10. In MNAC action on Jan. 29, the Broncos had lost to the Knights 37-59.This time around it was the Broncos’ turn to control the game.
Four Mullen youth basketball teams competed in the two-day Ogallala Shootout tournament February 14-15. The sixth grade girls team went 4-0 to win their division. Boys basketball team loses 3 tough games last week

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco boys basketball team played three games last week.On Tuesday, Feb. 3 they hosted C2 Valentine for a second time this season - this time actually getting to play the boys varsity game. The Dec. 9 game was canceled due to a village power outage.

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen youth wrestlers competed at the Kearney Matcat Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 8.Boys - PreK-K 48-49: Brek Dent - 2nd. Won by major decision 22-10 over Lukas Hernandez (Lexington), lost 14-21 to Maverick McGowan (St. Paul), pinned Copeland Walters (Kearney Matcats) in 0:15.

Walker earns 100th win at Arcadia-Loup City Invite

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco boys wrestling team competed at the Arcadia-Loup City Invite in Loup City last Friday, Feb. 6.Junior Cooper Walker placed 1st at 165 and also earned his 100th career win!
