Werner receives degree

Concordia University Nebraska recently named 266 students to its 2026 Spring Term Honors list. Students must earn a GPA of at least 3.90 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours to be eligible for this list.Trevor Kuncl of Mullen was among those earning honors.

MHS students explore Alaska on Science Trip

by Gerri Peterson Last week 10 Mullen High School students had the experience of a lifetime, traveling on the MHS Science Trip to Alaska, June 5-12, with Science teacher Sarah Hardin.Hardin has taken six other groups of students over the years on a Florida Science Trip.

Mid-Plains honor lists

A total of 150 students qualified for the President’s List during the 2026 spring semester at Mid-Plains Community College.To make the list, each student had to complete 12 or more applicable credit hours in college-level courses and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 or greater on a 4.
